• Description:
• Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī, compiled by Abū ʿĪsā Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsā al-Tirmidhī (279), is one of the six canonical books of ḥadīth. It is a unique collection of ḥadīth in which al-Tirmidhī (r) recorded those aḥādīth that were practiced and accepted by the jurists and community at large. Regarding his work, he said, “Whoever has this book in their house, it is as if they have a speaking Prophet in their house.”
• Join us for a transformative winter intensive that delves into the profound teachings found in the chapters on the Day of Judgement, al-Riqāq (Heart Softeners), and al-Waraʿ (Personal Piety). The instructors will read and explain the aḥadīth in these chapters and focus on practical lessons and reminders.
• This intensive is suitable for high school and university students, working professionals, parents, scholars, and anyone interested in enhancing their spiritual knowledge and practice. No prior knowledge is required, but a willingness to engage with the texts and share insights is essential. After successful participation, participants will receive an ijāzah (license to narrate the ḥadīth).
