Imam Jazari authoritatively introduced his central poem on the subject of tajweed by stating “To observe tajweed is necessary and binding, and whoever doesn’t recite the Quran with tajweed is sinful.” This course will cover the art of ensuring the correct recitation of the Quran, an individual and binding obligation. It introduces the main rules of tajweed and provides the tools needed to help perfect one’s pronunciation and develop fluency in recitation.
