This course will cover a word for word translation and explanation of some of the most commonly recited chapters of the Qur’ān: Yāsīn, Al-Ḥujurāt, and Al-Wāqi’ah.
There are a number of chapters throughout the Qur’ān that we are encouraged to recite on a regular basis because of the unique virtues and rewards associated with them. For example, Surah Yāsīn is known as the heart of the Qur’ān, Al-Ḥujurāt is known as the chapter on character and ethics, and Al-Mulk is known as the protector and savior. Reciting these chapters is full of reward, virtues and blessings but the main reason for their recitation is to internalize their message and use it to transform our lives. This course will cover a word for word translation and explanation of some of the most commonly recited chapters of the Qur’ān: Yāsīn, Al-Ḥujurāt, and Al-Wāqi’ah.
