IOK’s certificate in Arabic Language is designed for students who want to gain a deeper understanding of the Qur’ān and Sunnah through its native language. The goal of the program is for students to achieve an intermediate level of proficiency in grammar, morphology, and vocabulary that will help them read books with comprehension. The course will focus on providing students with the skills and tools needed to analyze and understand Qur’anic passages as well as read texts in Arabic without vowels. Applicants must be able to read the Qur’ān at an elementary level.
