This course is for students who have successfully completed LQA-101. This course is designed to build upon the foundation of the previous course by introducing verbs and morphology (ṣarf). The textbook for the course will be IOK’s Intermediate Arabic. The text provides an overview of verbs, their conjugations, derivations, grammatical constructs within verbal sentences, and how to use an Arabic dictionary. In addition to the textbook, students will use a corresponding reader that provides short stories, practically demonstrating the rules from the textbook. Based on the students’ levels, they may begin a storybook entitled Qaṣaṣ al-Nabiyyīn (Stories of The Prophets). The purpose of the book is to practically apply grammatical concepts, improve reading and listening comprehension, and build vocabulary.
