The Institute of Knowledge invites college-aged students and working professionals—and anyone interested in public religious leadership—to attend a comprehensive Khaṭīb Workshop designed to equip aspiring and current khuṭabāʾ with the foundational fiqh, ethical responsibility, and practical skills required to lead Jumuʿah prayer and deliver effective, meaningful, and spiritually impactful khuṭbahs.

Workshop Description:
The Friday khuṭbah is one of the most sacred and influential platforms in the life of the Muslim community. It is not merely a speech, but an act of worship, a trust (amānah), and a means of guiding hearts and minds through the words of Allah ﷻ and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.

Participants will gain both theoretical grounding and practical tools, making this workshop ideal for college aged students and working professionals who lead or aspire to lead Friday prayers on campus, in community spaces, or in the future as community leaders.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will walk away with a deeper appreciation of the sanctity of the minbar, a clear understanding of the legal and ethical framework of the Friday khuṭbah, and practical guidance on delivering messages that inform, inspire, and uplift the community.
