Course Description:

The opening of the Qurʾān is not simply an introduction—it is an invitation. An invitation to know Allah ﷻ, to understand our purpose, and to begin a lifelong journey of guidance through His Divine Words.

This 7-night summer intensive offers a focused and immersive exploration of Juzʾ 1, beginning with a deep and reflective study of Sūrah al-Fātiḥah—the essence of the Qurʾān and the foundation of our daily prayers—and continuing into the opening passages of Sūrah al-Baqarah, where the path of guidance, belief, and submission is laid out with clarity and depth.

Each evening, a different instructor will guide participants through the words, sentences, āyāt, and passages of this foundational portion of the Qurʾān—unpacking meanings, highlighting core themes, and drawing connections between the text and our lived realities.

Course Objectives: 

• Deep dive in Sūrah Al-Fātiḥah and the opening of Sūrah Al-Baqarah
• Connect with the words, sentences, āyāt, and passages of the Part 1 (Juzʾ 1) of the Qurʾān
• Explore, explain, and understandthe core themes, passages, and āyāt
• Deeply connect with the Divine Words of Allāh, see its beauty, and leave with real-life takeaways
