Course Description:

This course covers the major themes and topics related to Faith (Iman). It aims to introduce students to fundamental texts pertaining to belief, understand the principles that govern this topic, and the scholarly discussions surrounding them. Each of the six (6) fundamentals of faith will be covered in detail, along with first order principles of faith, foundational texts, evolution of this area of study, pedagogical texts throughout Islamic History used to teach the topic, as well as other supporting issues such as the status of the Prophet's companions and the role of character in building faith.
