Course Description:

This course is designed to build a solid foundation in Arabic vocabulary, grammar (nahw), and fundamental skills needed to start reading books in Arabic. The textbook for the course will be IOK's Beginning Arabic. The text provides an overview of basic nominal sentence structures. After successfully completing this course, students can expect to read and understand nominal sentences in Arabic. Students should be able to pick up the Qur'an and recognize words, constructions, and sentence structures. 

LQA-101 is a year-long course and will require students to re-enroll every trimester. Students may take this class on-site, online, or on-demand.
