Aqeedah is probably one of the most important and fundamental subjects in the study of Islam. It deals with a detailed review of the six pillars of faith, namely the belief in Allah, the angels, the revealed books, the prophets, life after death and predestination. This course is based on Imam Tahawi’s pivotal text on the creed of Ahlus Sunnah. Discussions will include an in depth look at the concept of faith, its requirements, the divine names and attributes, as well as heaven and hell, free will and the divine decree. The question of "why me?" will be answered in this course.
